Save Rock Canyon Concert

This Last week I went to the "Save Rock Canyon" Concert where they were trying to muster support for the cause to keep it from being given up to mining. To draw some more people out they had a concert up in their mini amphitheater. It was a pretty fun little place to have a concert and really beautiful-would have been perfect except for the rain-it ended up not being too bad as the night went on.
They had a wide range of bands perform and most of them were decent but I had three favorites I want to introduce you to.

Ben and Daniel Tengelsen
The Vibrant Sound
Cubworld

Ben and Daniel are brothers whose sound is very Jack Johnson-esque but still with their own little tweak. Their harmonies were tight and made it seem like maybe they've been practicing together for a while. Their voice quality is awesome and guitar playing was good. It is definitely a chill sound. The Vibrant Sound is one of my favorite Provo bands! They went acoustic for the concert, but still rocked it. They have a unique style of music that is extremely entertaining. One of the favorites of the night was "Plastic Beauty Queen" and of course their Version of Marvin Gaye's "Lets Get it on". I highly recommend this band. Finally Cubworld finished off the concert-they were definitely rockin it! they were a high quality band with a wide range of sounds. I liked the cover of Kanye's Heartless, and everybody got up and dancing for the last song in the set "Dancing in the Moonlight".
